Platform notes

Product boundaries to know when using OpenStep.

  • Building happens in an isolated environment the platform provides. You do not need your own host to get started.
  • If a conversation gets too long, start a new chat. The project remains.
  • You cannot publish while the AI is still Building. Wait for the turn to finish.
  • For a custom domain, use the DNS target shown on that project’s Domains panel at the time.
  • This site documents the builder product. Do not treat internal engineering specs or deploy notes as user docs.
