Build and Brainstorm

Run mode is Build or Brainstorm.

• Build — the AI writes and changes code in the project. Use it when you want a working app.
• Brainstorm — the AI asks questions and proposes a plan. It does not write code. Use it when the idea is still open.

Where to switch

• On /projects/new, a segmented Run mode control sits next to the model selector.
• In the editor, open Run configuration (top bar) and switch Run mode in the dropdown. There is no segmented control in the editor.

You can switch modes between turns. You cannot change the mode while a turn is running.

After Brainstorm produces a plan, confirm with Start building. See Confirm the plan.
